October 2013

Lights, camera, action!

Did you already decide why you like eTwinning? Are your actors ready for the shooting? Then lights, camera, action! - we hope you are having a good time creating your eTwinning movie with your students.

Don't forget that on 7 October the competition page will be launched and you will be able to begin embedding your videos. It’s easy to get started – just go to the Desktop and click on the ‘My eTwinning movie’ banner. If you have any problems whatsoever, your National Support Services will be there to help you.

And if you don't want to enter in the competition, you can still participate in the campaign by voting for your favourite videos – the 10 finalists will be chosen by the entire eTwinning community!

Good luck!

New training opportunity: eTwinning webinars

eTwinning offers opportunities for you to become involved in continuing professional development online. This school year, in addition to the Learning Events and European Workshops, you have a new training activity: webinars.

eTwinning webinars combine live communication sessions with some offline activities in the Learning Lab. You will have the chance to share and collaborate with other teachers on topics such as: classroom management, searching for partners, managing social media in eTwinning, among others. Some of the webinars will be open to everybody, and some just to eTwinning teachers.

Want to take part? You will find the link to apply on the Desktop in the run-up to the activity

The calendar and more info can be found on the Learning Lab, and will be available soon in the Portal.
