We have a new YouTube video translated and more to enjoy in our YouTube channel! Watch and share!

Our video about the PDW “Coding and Robotics: The Future is now!” that took place on May 5-8, 2016 in Braga, Portugal, has been translated!

The workshop had a great success with around 130 participants and was co-organised by Estonia, Portugal and Norway. PDWs (Professional Development Workshops) focus on new teaching trends through projects and technology bringing together participants from different European countries to network and share experiences.

“We are advancing, our knowledge is rapidly increasing, and things change” mentioned one of the participants in the video.

eTwinning’s 2016 Monitoring Report: ‘‘Monitoring eTwinning Practice – A pilot project guiding teachers’ competence development”

Now that eTwinning has reached a high level of popularity and teacher engagement it is now the programme’s intention to further focus on the quality of the pedagogy and professional learning it contributes to.

The Monitoring eTwinning Practice (MeTP) Maturity Model was designed to better understand the impact of eTwinning projects on teachers’ practice.

The MeTP pilot involved a group of 35 teachers from 19 countries in self- and peer assessment activities which they undertook in parallel with their eTwinning projects. The MeTP pilot is evaluated in this report, and shows how the activity sparked more reflective teaching practice and dialogue among teachers.
