A new chapter in eTwinning - Vocational education and Training

After 14 successful years of supporting primary and secondary education, eTwinning is eager to increase and recognise the work of vocational education and training schools (VET) across Europe.

eTwinning and Friends: EUROCLIO

Euroclio connects history educators across Europe, supporting the development of responsible and innovative history, citizenship, and heritage education by promoting critical thinking, multiple perspectives, mutual respect, and the inclusion of controversial issues. Through an online educational multimedia tool, called Historiana, teachers can access learning activities which support this year’s eTwinning theme of Democratic Participation. eTwinning in Finland, the land of thousand lakes and islands

One-third of the Finnish population (1.6 million people) live in rural areas and Finland tries to give to all students living in the most isolated rural schools a strong educational foundation that will prepare them for work and higher education. Mirjami Hyttinen, an upper secondary teacher in Finland and an eTwinning enthusiast, talked to us about her school which is located at the border of Finland and Sweden in southern Lapland.
